Meeting/Event Information

Registration will open at 8:00 AM, Happy Hour starts at 1:00 PM and Banquet at 2:00 PM.

The format will be a “Scramble Best Ball” with a Shotgun Start scheduled for 9:00 AM. There will be a competition for “Closest to the Pin”, “Longest Drive”, and 1^st and 2^nd Place “Low Gross.” Complementary beverages served throughout the course.

Happy Hour and Banquet will follow golf.  Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Banquet. 

All participants’ names and Sponsorships must be received by April 14, 2026. We are pleased to offer a Government rate and a retired MAE member rate.  Combinations of Standard Rate, Government Rate, and Retired MAE Member Rate foursomes can be accommodated on our “Buy Tickets” drop down window. Please be sure to provide full names of all players, so we can prepare signs for the golf carts.

The MAE Heritage

“The Maryland Association of Engineers, an organization consisting of Engineers, Contractors, Equipment and Material Suppliers, State, Municipal and County Officials and Employees was founded in 1929 by Mr. P.Y.K. Howat.  The Association at that time had a membership of 40, with the late Colonel Henry G. Perring, Consulting Engineer in the City of Baltimore as its first President. The Organization was incorporated under the laws of the State of Maryland on the 8^th day of February 1934, and at the present time has a membership of approximately 525.

Dick Trainor Scholarship Fund

In 1991, the MAE started a tradition of granting scholarships each year to local high schools, that either select a student entering college for engineering, or provide a list of eligible students to MAE for selection.  IN 1998, in memory of Richard H. Trainor, the Maryland Association of Engineers Dick Trainor Scholarship Fund became chartered and achieved 501 (c) (3) status.  Since the fund was started, MAE has awarded scholarships totaling over $350,000 to students pursuing a career in an engineering field.
